When in season go for local fruits and vegetables when possible, generally they will have less pesticide residue than imported produce. 

Try and choose organic whenever possible or from the Clean 15 group.

Eating fruits and vegetables is a great source of nutrients ( organic or conventional) Always wash them for at least 30 seconds.
