An Illustrated Food Blog

Vizcaya was created as James Deering’s subtropical winter home in the 1910s and today it is a National Historic Landmark and accredited museum. We were fortunate to pay a visit to to spectacular place during our last visit to Miami.

Vizcaya’s exuberant gardens are characterized by an abundance of architectural structures and details, elaborate fountains, and antique and commissioned sculptures.

I enjoyed photographing all the fascinating walls and structures to create a wonderful memory of our visit.
